GBS offers three support tools. Each is designed to suit your business needs.

Facilitating Business Leadership

Our approach: Confidential, independent, operational, strategic, non-political, direct, challenging, practical.

    Leadership Mentoring: Individual sessions with senior managers, directors, presidents, business owners - developing leadership skills, dealing with individual change, complex problem solving, building business excellence, career succession development. (These are very intensive, challenging and confidential meetings held on a one-to-one basis)

    Top Team "change management" workshops: Major changes in companies cause uncertainty, risk, fear, lack of communication, demotivation, chaos. Most aquistions, mergers, system implementations, or any other major change within the company fail or at least reduce performance, often because leadership has ignored the "change management implications" on its employees

    Challenging the business model paradigm: Are you certain your business is going in the right direction?. Only an expert leadership advisor, with many years of practical business experience, as well as being an outsider, unemotionally attached, will be able to challenge you and your business, before your competitors do. Individual and Top Team facilitating as well as workshops
The benefits to you are that you are able to leaverage the expertise from an outside source, verify your thoughts and feel more confident of making the right decisions.

Interim Business Management Short to medium term Interim Management of your business in analysis, design and implementation of business growth solutions. The benefits to you are that in a short period of time, you bring on a heavy weight Manager Leader who is able to bring about change to your business, without having to recruit on a full time basis, until you are ready and able too so.

UK & Polish Entry Strategies Analysis of potential clients, competitors, suppliers, establishing legal entity and related issues in your target related country. The benefits to you are that GBS works independently or directs you to one of our Partners who will carry out the work for you in a cost effective manner.

 Our Approach
With every Client the task is always unique. Some clients are very clear from the outset exactly where their business is today, where they want it to be and how they intend to get there. Many Clients have a complex set of problems or challenges to deal with and need to discuss in an open , relaxed and informal but challenging way, what the key problems are.

Either way, our approach is to get to understand what the key issues are, define them and then plan a road map with the client on how best to effectively implement the changes. All this starts with a non-commital meeting, where we gather information and give our opinion on what to do next. A typical, but not necessarily in this format approach might look as follows:

•  We listen and ask the right questions
•  We believe that you probably have most of the answers but no time and no one to talk to about them
•  We will provide a global view of your business but also give advice on detailed operational issues
•  We provide practical and operational as well as strategic ideas and if asked for, we also implement them
•  We talk to you straight and challenge you and your business model as few would be able to do
•  Using your and our experience, we find solutions, new thinking, clarity and success
•  Contact us by mail or telephone to arrange a meeting
•  We will meet at your premises for between 2 hours and one day, where we will listen and ask a lot of questions
•  For the meeting we will ask you to prepare some basic information on your business
•  We will arrange another meeting, where we will suggest what we can offer in order to successfully support
   your business
•  You then decide on the best option of how you wish to work with GBS
•  We sign a short, non-complicated agreement, outlining the terms of our partnership, and get to work on your business


 What GBS is not
Often in business things go wrong because of a break down in communication and expectations between people. Often the message, if sent at all, is not the same as the message received at the other end. In order to minimalise any misunderstandings, we state the following.

•  We do not offer standard consulting firm business models
•  We facilitate the problem solving process and where asked for, we implement
•  We do not offer colourful and impressive presentations
•  We do not employee finely dressed consultants
•  We say what we genuinely believe is the right way for your business, and ask you to be open about this
•  We do not charge high fees, and sometimes we have a success element built into our agreements
•  We do not have all the answers
        - but between us we will have better answers than the competition!
•  We genuinely enjoy the work we do and we have pleasure in seeing our clients business grow, this way we also grow
•  We will always maintian a healthy balance between working for you and our private lives. Long hours and undue
   and unnecessary pressure are no good for anyone - the best ideas come when we are relaxed!
•  We are not in-between jobs and not burn't out - we have simply chosen this way of working
•  We work in strickt confidence with you and your business top team
•  We will get out of our contract if we feel we are not adding value or you are simply not listening
•  We will treat your assignment very seriously and with total commitment, but we will only work in an engaging
   and healthy atmosphere of partnership


 What we ask from you
•  To be completely open with us about your business, your concerns, dreams and weaknesses
•  Accept that we will be frank and challenge you as your trusted partner
•  That you honour the terms of agreement
•  You give us an honest and frank written business reference at the end of the assignment
